Maddy’s 5th Birthday Party
I was super excited to be asked to help out with Madelyn’s 5th birthday party! The theme was “Hello Kitty”, with a color scheme of pink and green. Everything from the invitations, banners and Hello Kitty cardboard cutout heads (all made by Jackie) came out perfect.
The kids were kept occupied all day by the cool inflatable bouncy house and other activities like a piñata, pin the bow on Hello Kitty (a fun spin on pin the tail on the donkey), and a nice little arts and crafts table where the girls can create their own personalized Hello Kitty.
It was a fun day for all that saw every kid go home with a goody bag and the adults go home with a tasty homemade cream cheese pound cake made by Madelyn’s dad.

Yuleisy & Carlos: Engagement Photos
The couple we’re featuring in our latest entry is Yuleisy Matos & Carlos Guzman. They were engaged on Valentine’s Day of 2010 at the beautiful River Cafe in Brooklyn, NY. I met them in early October and we immediately hit it off. I could tell right away that they were full of energy and very enthusiastic about their wedding.
I have to admit, many grooms aren’t very hands on when it comes to wedding planning, but Carlos is an exception to this and definitely wants to be involved. Even though I’ve only known Yuleisy for about two months now, her exceptional personality makes it seem as though I’m not only working with a client, but a close friend as well.
Their wedding will take place @ Leonard’s of Great Neck in May of 2011 and I’m really looking forward to it. Stay tuned for the wedding pics, but for now take a look at some of their engagement shots taken in Central Park by freelance photographer Kevin Tavarez.
Veronica & Brian’s Autumn Wedding
Veronica & Brian were married on October 8, 2010 during a beautiful outdoor ceremony at the Coral House in Baldwin, NY.
It was a picture perfect Autumn evening where all of the elements helped to tie together the feeling of what a true October wedding is all about.
