Bianca & Carlos | Southwood Estate

This past summer we had the privilege of working the beautiful wedding of Bianca & Carlos at the stunning Southwood Estate located on the banks of the Hudson River.

The early threats of rain quickly subsided as the sun came out just in time for the venue setup. The ceremony took place atop one of the many rolling hills throughout the estate overlooking the Hudson. Spectacular floral arrangements were designed by Sachi Rose, providing a pure country elegance with no detail overlooked. Lekker Catering served up a delectable “farm to table” dining experience for the event. Salsa band, Los Hermanos Moreno, got the party going and had the guests out of their seats and on the dance floor all night long. Southwood Estate definitely provided the perfect location for this truly magical event.

Cody & Jimmy | New York Athletic Club Wedding

Cody and Jimmy’s romance began on an unseasonably warm February night in 2011. Unbeknownst to Cody, what was supposed to be a usual girls’ night out would bring something great and unexpected. Through Cody’s friend Alex’s boyfriend Ryan, she was introduced to Jimmy. The group had a fun night out on the Lower East Side, Cody and Jimmy hit it off, shared a dance, exchanged numbers and the rest is history.About 4 years after they first met, Jimmy proposed to Cody in Central Park on yet another unseasonably warm April night. The two were later joined at the New York Athletic Club by both of their families, as a surprise put together by Jimmy, for everyone to celebrate the big news. Their wedding took place on April 30, celebrating on a larger scale with family and friends at the New York Athletic Club, a venue that will always hold a special place in their hearts.
