Genea and Martin’s love began as students on the campus of Norfolk State University. On Friday February 18, 2011 they wed in Holy matrimony and decided to celebrate in grand fashion with their family and friends at a later date.

On May 27 Genea and Martin hosted there extravaganza at the lavish Prince George Ballroom in New York City. No detail was spared as their guests took part in an amazing celebration of this couple’s
love for each other.

The reception had the feel of attending a Broadway production. The party guests entered to a “red carpet welcome” which included mini interviews being conducted as you entered the gallery, only to
add to the ambience. After cocktails, everyone dined on a blend of authentic Nigerian and Caribbean cuisine. Genea and Martin paid tribute to Nigerian heritage by changing into traditional attire prior to dancing the night away with family and friends. The night culminated with a grand confetti ending, putting the finishing touch on a truly opulent affair!
